BONNY DOON | DAVENPORT | NORTH COAST
"As a Pacific Elementary school mom for the last ten years, I understand the needs of the North Coast and Rural District 3 including Bonny Doon. Over the years, I've become friends with many families who have built amazing lives and community there. I know that people live on the north coast because it is a remarkable rural area. I am committed to keeping it so."
- Shebreh Kalantari - Johnson
"I met Shebreh Kalantari-Johnson over 10 years as a Pacific School parent where she became part of our north coast community who cares deeply about Davenport. In addition to being a member of the Santa Cruz City Council, and running her own consulting business, she worked on grant writing and volunteering for Pacific School. I have found Shebreh listens well, responds in a timely fashion, and follows up efficiently and effectively, so I know she has the skills to be a great 3rd District Supervisor."

Some of the important issues that I experienced and heard community members talk about:

-
Fire prevention and response
-
Rebuilding from the fires
-
Road and traffic safety
-
Keeping industrial-scale cannabis grows out of rural District 3
-
Keeping District 3 rural
-
Addressing impacts from visitors including illegal RV parking, sanitation and traffic
I am supported by a diverse range of people because I know how to get things done. I have already worked on many of these issues through my past community work. I am committed to continuing the work and focusing on speeding up rebuilding, leveraging outside funding to reduce tax burdens, and fighting for families and neighborhoods.

“I am supporting Shebreh for Third District County Supervisor. She cares about people, including children, families, and seniors. Shebreh cares about our unique local environment. She has experience serving on the Santa Cruz City Council. She is well-educated, she is concerned about local homeless issues, and she listens intently to her constituents’ concerns. From running her own business, she understands budgeting and taxation. She will be a great County Supervisor.”
